How to donate your tax refund to Central City Opera

REFUND COChoose to donate from your Colorado income tax refund and continue to support our important work.

If you get a Colorado state income tax refund, you will have a new opportunity to donate some or all of it to support our ongoing work in the community. The new program described by the ReFUND CO initiative puts you in charge of where your donation goes. In the past, Colorado taxpayers had a list of organizations to which they could donate their tax refund. This year, taxpayers have the option to write in an organization of their choice.

Donating your state refund is as simple as 1, 2, 3:

Decide how much of your refund to donate

*You can give all or part of your refund, but you must have an accurate amount before donating. If the donated amount is more than your refund, the full amount will be cancelled.

Enter Nonprofit Information

Enter Central City Opera House Association and our registration number 20023002996 in the Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund line on your state income tax return or tax software – or give this info to your tax preparer with your tax documents. If you are preparing your taxes manually, you will need to use the Voluntary Contributions Schedule Form.

SMILE

Smile knowing it was so easy to support a cause that matters to you. Thank you!
