Summer traffic in the mountains can be unpredictable, so please plan ahead! We have a NO LATE SEATING policy.

Directions from Denver
Central City is less than 40 miles from Denver.
- Take I-70 West* into the mountains and take Exit 243 for an 8-mile drive on the safe and scenic Central City Parkway.
- As you enter Central City, turn left at the stop sign onto Main Street.
- At the end of the street, turn left onto Eureka Street.
- The Opera House is up the street on your left at 124 Eureka Street.
Directions from Golden
- From Golden, take Clear Creek Canyon/US-6 west to SR-119 (right).
- In Black Hawk, turn left (southwest) onto Black Hawk/Gregory Street and continue as it changes names to SR-279, Main Street, Lawrence Street and, finally, Eureka Street.
- The Opera House is on the left at 124 Eureka Street.
Directions from Boulder (Scenic)
- Take Broadway south. Go west on Canyon Blvd [SR-119].
- Bear left (south) onto SR-72 [continues as SR-119].
- Continue south and west on SR-72 [SR-119] to Black Hawk.
- In Black Hawk, turn left (southwest) onto Black Hawk/Gregory Street, and continue as it changes names to SR-279, Main Street, Lawrence Street and, finally, Eureka Street.
- The Opera House is up the street on your left at 124 Eureka Street.
Directions from Idaho Springs or locations west on I-70
- Follow I-70 east past Idaho Springs.
- Take Exit 243 for an 8-mile drive on the safe and scenic Central City Parkway.
- As you enter Central City, turn left at the stop sign onto Main Street.
- At the end of the street, turn left onto Eureka Street.
- The Opera House is up the street on your left at 124 Eureka Street.
Parking Information
We offer a reserved parking lot (The Teller Lot) adjacent to the Opera House at $15 per car per performance. Parking can be ordered at any time, including when you place your order for tickets, up to 24 hours in advance of a performance. Subject to availability.
Free covered parking, is available at Century Casino, located about one block down the hill from the opera house. Some additional street parking is available in Central City, but please pay attention to posted signs as to whether they are specifically designed for patrons of other businesses in the area, as towing is enforced in some lots.
Buses can drop passengers off in front of the Opera House. Buses can park on the Central City Parkway at the KOA campground.
