Throughout the year, Central City Opera is proud to present a number of concerts, cabarets, education programs and other performances across the region. Additionally, Central City Opera hosts fun and innovative fundraisers throughout the year that support the four pillars of the company: Artist Training, Historic Properties, Education and the yearly Festival. Opera Hits with Central City Opera at Levitt Pavilion Denver

May 15, 2022

Central City Opera presents a concert of opera and music theater’s “greatest hits” and excerpts from our 2022 Summer Festival, featuring the musical The Light in the Piazza and operetta Die Fledermaus. Performers include CCO Touring Artists soprano Christie Conover, soprano Jenée Luquette James, mezzo soprano Lindsay Falduto, tenor Michael Hoffman, baritone Steve Taylor, and pianist Jeremy Reger.

Proud Voices

June 11 & 12 & July 16, 2022

“Proud Voices” is a series of events curated by community organizations to celebrate traditionally underrepresented voices through music and storytelling. The series includes a LGBTQ+ concert presented by Art Song Colorado, a panel and performance at the JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center highlighting the themes of the Holocaust remembrance opera Two Remain, and special PRIDE celebration day during the 2022 Central City Opera summer festival.

Dream Events

Support Central City Opera by attending a Dream Event. Dream Events invite you along for once-in-a-lifetime happenings in Denver, adventures found only in Colorado and behind the scenes experiences at the opera.

L'Esprit de Noël

The Guild’s only fundraiser of the year: The L’Esprit de Noel Holiday Home Tour. Be inspired by Denver’s top florists and table designers as they decorate spectacular homes with the current holiday trends! The 2021 event will be a virtual tour of the McCourt Mansion in Denver.

Plein Air Festival

This annual festival features handpicked artists from around the country who travel to Central City for three days to paint fall landscapes and the architecture of this historic Colorado mountain town. Prizes are awarded in several categories.
