Throughout the year, Central City Opera is proud to present a number of concerts, cabarets, education programs, and other performances across the region. Additionally, Central City Opera hosts fun and innovative fundraisers throughout the year that support the four pillars of the company: Artist Training, Historic Properties, Education, and our yearly Festival. Please consider attending one of our fundraising events to help sustain these necessary programs!

Opera on the Green

Experience an enchanting summer evening as Central City Opera Touring Artists bring the beauty of opera to the great outdoors! This free show begins at 6:00 PM, so bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and your love for music.

CCO Guild Fall Membership Celebration

The evening will feature the presentation of the 2027 Slate of Officers and the Belle Award, honoring those who make a lasting impact on our community. Clara Brown Day

Join us at Lincoln Hills for our third annual Clara Brown Day! This event includes a tour of the historic Winks Lodge, a boxed lunch, and a one-hour concert featuring songs and arias by Black composers.

Haunted History Tour

Join us for an after-dark exploration of Central City’s most atmospheric and storied landmarks. The evening begins with spooky cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the Teller House, followed by tours of Central City Opera landmarks. You never quite know what  or who  you might encounter around the next corner. 

Great American Composers: Celebrating the USA 250

Earth to Kenzie

Kenzie is a fifth grader with a BIG imagination and an even bigger love of adventure. When trouble at home forces Kenzie and her mom to move into a family shelter, everything suddenly feels confusing and uncertain.

This 45-min children’s opera is inventive, engaging, and made to resonate with all ages.
