What is Colorado Gives Day?
Colorado Gives Day is an annual fundraising campaign which raises funds for local non-profits. Making a gift during Colorado Gives season helps Central City Opera in a variety of ways including supporting training artists programs, education and community engagement programs, historic Central City properties, and our beloved annual festival.
This year, Colorado Gives Day is on December 9th, but you don’t have to wait until then. Early giving has already begun! Thanks to the support of a generous donor, we have a huge fundraising opportunity this year – your gift to Central City Opera made through the Colorado Gives website will be MATCHED 1:1 up to $50,000! Thanks to this match, and with your help, we have the chance to raise more than $100,000 this year!
Additional Incentives Provided by Colorado Gives Foundation
From November 1st through December 9th, every gift you make to Central City Opera through Colorado Gives will be boosted by the $1,000,000+ Incentive Fund made possible by the Colorado Gives Foundation. Central City Opera will receive a share of this fund based on the percentage of the total raised!
