Ken Cazan has directed over 180 operas, musical theater and plays in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe, including the first U.S. production of Benjamin Britten’s Gloriana at Central City Opera in 2001 and the regional premiere of Billy Budd in 2019. He directed Carousel for CCO in 2021 and will direct the world premiere of All the Truths We Cannot See for the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland in the Spring of 2022. This is his 20th season with Central City Opera.

Joachim Schamberger works internationally as a Stage Director and Video Designer and his expertise includes acting and dramatic interpretation as well as style and language coaching, specifically for German language repertoire. His productions have appeared in the United States, Germany, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Norway, Israel, Japan and China. He directed and designed Central City Opera’s Il Trovatore in 2018 and Tosca in 2016.
