Il trovatore is known for some of the most glorious music Verdi ever composed. The intense story weaves a tale of passion, jealousy, and vengeance surrounding Count di Luna and the gypsy Azucena, who has sworn her revenge on the di Luna family. Singers have risen to greatness performing this operatic masterpiece.
