This idyllic story tells the tale of the nymph Galatea and her lover Acis, a shepherd. The blissful couple faces danger when a powerful cyclops appears, desiring Galatea for himself.

This production features artists of the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artists Training Program. The one-act opera is performed in The Lanny and Sharon Martin Foundry.
