Handel’s baroque opera is the story of the nymph Galatea and her lover Acis, a shepherd. The blissful couple is faced with danger when a powerful cyclops intervenes, desiring Galatea for himself. Don’t miss this idyllic, fully orchestrated production this coming summer in a Central City venue.
