The Central City Opera Podcast introduces you to the movers and shakers of the Central City Opera Festival. Episodes feature interviews with principal artists, directors, conductors, production staff, and other special guests. Now in its fourth season, you can listen to new and old episodes here: ccopodcast.libsyn.com. The podcast is hosted and produced by Emily Murdock, Associate Director of Education. The 2019 podcast intern is Madison Toews.
Episodes will be released on Tuesdays and Fridays starting July 2 and ending August 2, featuring interviews artists and production personnel of Madama Butterfly, Billy Budd, the double-bill of The Blessed Damozel and Litanies to the Black Virgin, and Encore: A Musical Revue. There will also be a “Young Artist Spotlight” episode, a “Behind-the-Scenes” episode featuring a little-known job at the festival, and an episode with a Herman Melville scholar.
New this year – Show Notes! Each episode will have an accompanying show notes page online, where you will find links, photos, and other interesting material related to the episode. Show Notes are published at ccopodcast.libsyn.com.
