Composers and lyricists have waxed poetic on the subject of love since the beginning of time. We’ve picked a few choice moments from favorite operas and American musicals to illustrate the ups, downs, and all-around magic of love. This delectable pastiche features a romantic trio and dynamic pianist from the Central City Opera Ensemble: Amanda Raddatz, soprano; Jennifer DeDominici, mezzo soprano, Bradley Thompson, baritone and Deborah Schmit-Lobis, pianist.
Relive the rollercoaster of love through this eclectic program of songs and duets from opera and musical theatre, including selections from La Bohème, Carmen, Kiss Me, Kate and Camelot.
